Aleksi 8E

Tyyliini saan vaikutteita venäläisestä kulttuurista. Tällä hetkellä ylläni on Joulupukin tuomat vaatteet ja housuni olen kääntänyt väärinpäin. Yleensä äitini ostaa vaatteeni.

Tyylini on melko poikamainen ja ostan usein miesten vaatteita. Käytän paljon kaulus- ja bändipaitoja ja jalassani minulla on aina farkut. Ostan vaatteeni H&M:ltä, Jack & Jonesilta, netistä ja EMP:ltä.

My style is influenced by Russian culture. At the moment I am wearing clothes brought to me by Santa, and I have turned my pants backside front. Usually my mom buys my clothes.

My style is kinda boyish and I often buy men's clothes. I wear lots of plaid shirts and band-tees and I always wear jeans. I buy my clothes from H&M, Jack&Jones, EMP and from the net.

The future is ours

Yhteishaku on ajankohtainen jokaiselle koulumme yhdeksäsluokkalaiselle. Se tapahtuu internetin välityksellä yleensä koulussa opon, eli oppilaanohjaajan, avustuksella. Yhteishaku järjestetään kaksi kertaa vuodessa, syksyllä ja keväällä, sekä täydennyshaku kesällä.

 Kysyimme blogikurssimme nuorilta heidän mietteitään yhteishausta. Kyselyssä kävi ilmi, että Lapuan lukio oli hyvin suosittu. Myös Seinäjoen lukio, Jurvan ammattikoulun eri linjat, sekä Helsingin medialukio nousivat esille haastatteluissa. Medialukio kiinnostaa, koska se tarjoaa samalla mahdollisuuden pääkaupunkiseudulla asumiseen, sekä median parissa työskentelyyn. Monien valinnan ratkaisee kotoa muuttaminen. Toiset lähtevät rohkeammin opiskelujen perässä, toiset taas tahtovat pysyä kotiseudulla.

Julla selventää päätöstään:
"Mä meen lukioon siks, että mulla ei oo mitään hajua, mikä musta tulee isona"

Iitu kertoo hakemisen syistä:
"No minä itse, ja tulevaisuus. Ja se että haluan julkkikseksi"

Applying to school is current to every ninth-grader of our school. It happens via internet usually at scool with help of student's counselor. School applying is arranged two times a year, in fall and spring, and once again in summer, for those who missed the first applying.

We asked the teenagers of blog-course their thoughts about the applying. The gallup told us that the Lapua upper-secondary school was a very popular option. Also Seinäjoki's upper-secondary school, different lines of Jurva's vocational school and Helsinki's media upper-secondary school were mentioned often during the interview. Media school in Helsinki is interesting because it gives the opportunity to live in our capital city and work with media. Moving out away from your family affects the choises that young people do. Others want to stay home longer than some of us.

Julla tells why she choses upper secondary school:
"I'm going to upper secondary school, because I have no idea, what I want to be when I grow up"

Iitu tells what affects of her applying:
"Well myself, and my future, and that I want to become a celebrity"

Tyylini on hyvin rento ja tykkään pukeutua mekkoihin. Pidän printtipaidoista, leopardikuosista ja ruutupaidoista. Ostan vaatteeni kaikista teinikaupoista, kuten H&M:ltä, Vero Modasta ja Jim&Jillistä. Joskus eksyn Zaraan ja Vilaan. Lempimerkkini on Cheap Monday.
Toivon teidän äänestävän minua, kun kahdenkymmenen vuoden päästä pyrin eduskuntaan.

My style is cozy and I like to wear dresses. I like print-tees, leopard pattern and plaid shirts. I buy my clothes from all kinds of teenager-stores, like H&M, Vero Moda and Jim&Jill. Sometimes I wander to Zara and Vila. My favorite brand is Cheap Monday.
I would love if you'd vote for me, when I try to get to the parliament twenty years from now.

Suomeen valitaan uusi tasavallan presidentti tammi-helmikuussa 2012. Nykyinen presidenttimme Tarja Halonen on toiminut presidenttinä kaksi kautta, eikä voi enää asettua uudelleen ehdolle. Äänestykseen voivat osallistua yli 18-vuotiaat Suomen kansalaiset.

Suomalaiset nuoret saivat osallistua leikkimielisesti presidentin valintaan niissä kouluissa, jotka osallistuivat Nuorisovaalit PRESSA -hankkeeseen ja äänestivät 11.1 sekä 24.1.2012.

Oppilaat menivät luokka kerrallaan kokoushuoneeseen, jossa he saivat vaalilipukkeet. Äänestys tapahtui sermin takana, jonka seinälle oli kiinnitetty presidenttiehdokkaiden henkilötiedot ja äänestysnumerot. Numero merkittiin äänestyslippuun, jonka jälkeen lippu leimattiin ja pudotettiin vaaliuurnaan. Vaalivirkailijoina toimivat nuorisovaltuuston ja oppilaskunnan hallituksen jäsenet.

Lapuan Yläkoulun, Sedun ja Lukion yhteenlasketut äänet julkistettiin 17.1.2012.

Sauli Niinistö sai 35,67%, Timo Soini 28,34% ja Paavo Väyrynen 10,42% äänistä.

Sauli Niinistön ja Timo Soinin välille järjestettiin uusi Nuorisovaaliäänestys 24.1.2012.

Tulokset julkistetaan 1.2.2012.

In February 2012, Finland will be chosen a new president. Our current president Tarja Halonen has already worked as the president for two terms, which means she can’t run for president anymore. Any 18-year-old or older citizen of Finland can vote in the election.

The Finnish youth had the change to take part in a “fake” presidential election in those schools, which participated in the Nuorisovaalit PRESSA, (which means Youth Election PRESIDENT) -project,  and voted January 11^th and 24^th 2012.

The students went one class at a time to a meeting room, where they got ballot papers. The actual voting happened behind a folding screen, where they had put up information about the candidates and also their voting numbers. The number was written to the paper, which was then stamped and dropped into the ballot box. The members of the youth counsil and the student counsil worked as election attendants.

The combined votes of Lapua Secondary School, Sedu and Upper Secondary School were announced in January 17^th 2012. Sauli Niinistö got 35,67%, Timo Soini 28,34% and Paavo Väyrynen 10,42% of all votes. A new voting was arranged between Niinistö and Soini January 24^th. The results will be revealed February 1^st.

Art begings at art class

Syksyn aikana koulun kuvistunneilla on valmistunut erilaisia piirustuksia, maalauksia, veistoksia ja monia muita töitä. Esittelen tässä nyt niistä osan.

 

Viime jouluna valmistuneita kipsivaluja. Tekijöillä on ollut värityksen suhteen runsaasti
mielikuvitusta.

   

Nämä lehdet leikataan alumiinista ja liitetään alustoihinsa, jotka on väritetty maalilla, johon on
sekoitettu hiekkaa. Tämän projektin alkuperä juontuu
taannoin Lapuan taidemuseossa järjestetystä näyttelystä.



Erään kahdeksannen luokan oppilaan veden tärkeydestä kertova kipsikäsityö. Taustalla lehtitöitä varten tehtyjä lahjalaatikoita.

Yhdeksäsluokkalaisten pastellitöitä, aiheena pilvisymboliikka.

Osa näistä oppilaiden tekemistä töistä saattaa päätyä toukokuun 2012 alussa avautuvaan Taiteen Kosketus IX –kuvataidenäyttelyyn, missä on myös Lapuan lukion oppilaiden töitä. Näyttely on järjestetty Patruunagalleriassa joka toinen vuosi vuodesta 1996 lähtien. Näyttelyssä on kuvistöiden lisäksi esillä myös valokuvia.

During the fall, different kinds of drawings, paintings, sculptures and other many other works have been made in our school’s art class. I shall now present some of them to you.

These "plaster hands" were made made from plaster tape; the tape was made wet and then
wrapped around the person's hand. When the plaster dried up, it was removed from the
person's hand. Note that the hand is probably made in small steps, as it is hard to
remove it if it's done as a full hand.

These are some linocutting works by eighth-graders. The idea behind this project was to
depict the chosen theme in decorative pieces.

Pastel works by ninth-graders. The subject was clouds. (In my personal opinion, I like the
one in the lower left corner the best.)

Little boxes made by seventh-graders (used material was clay). Actually, most of these are
more like mini-sized CD racks.

A part of these pieces of work made by the students might end up in the 9th Touch of Art (Taiteen Kosketus) art show at the beginning of May 2012, where they display not only the works from our school, but also works from the Lapua high school. The art show has been arranged every two years since 1996. Apart from the school artwork, there are also photos displayed.

Seitsemännellä luokalla jokainen koulumme oppilas opiskelee kolme tuntia viikossa kotitaloutta. Tunneilla opitaan monia käytännöllisiä asioita kotitöistä, kuten siivouksesta, pyykinpesusta sekä ruuanlaitosta ja ravintoarvoista. Sen jälkeen kotitaloutta voi valita valinnaisaineina, jotka keskittyvät lähinnä ruuanlaittoon. Valinnaisaineita opiskellaan kaksi tuntia viikossa. Kahdeksannelle luokalle valinnaisia voi valita kolmesta erilaisesta kurssista ja yhdeksännelle luokalle kahdesta kurssista. Seurasimme muutaman seiskaluokan kotitalouden tuntia. He leipoivat pullaa.

On 7th grade every student of our school studies home economics three hours a week. There they learn many  practical things about homework, such as cleaning, doing laundry, cooking and nutritional values.
After that you can choose home economics as optional courses, they focus mainly on cooking. Optional courses are studied two hours a week. On the eighth grade you can choose from three different courses and on ninth grade from two courses.
We were following seventh-graders class. They were baking buns.
